These THK KR units are about the
highest
quality we have seen as the rails are actually the u shaped steel channel. This
design limits flexing and the unit is self contained. This unit has a nice mount for a NEMA 23 stepper or servo motor with cover. The ball screw shaft end is 12mm were the pulley or couple would mount.
Total length of unit is 1428mm.
This unit has a 20mm
ballscrew. Lead is 20mm - so 1 turn moves it 20mm. Total travel is 1100mm or 43.5"
This is the premium
balls crew actuator with long twin long bearing blocks on a heavy duty stainless mounting base. This unit was removed from a spare actuator and we don't believe was ever used in production. The end of the unit has a ding in the aluminum by the bearing, but the bearings run smooth.

THK Caged Ball LM Guide Actuator model SKR is a compact actuator that has a inner block consisting of
LM blocks and a ball screw nut integrated inside a U-shaped outer rail.
In addition, this model achieves high speed operation, lower noise and longer-term maintenance free
operation by using ball cages in the LM Guide units and the Ball Screw unit.
4-way Equal Load
Each row of balls is arranged at a contact angle
of 45 degrees so that the rated load on the inner block
is uniform under loads applied to the inner block
in the four directions (radial, reverse radial and
lateral directions). As a result, model SKR can
be used in any mounting orientation.
