    Description

    DRIED LUNARIA
    Also known as MONEY PLANT, SILVER DOLLAR, HONESTY, MOONWORT
    You will receive 15 STEMS 10" - 12" in length.
    Each stem will contain at least 5 or more silver dollar "coins" attached as seen in photo.
    Lunaria / Honesty / Silver Dollar / Moonwort Plant:
    You will receive 15 stems of freshly harvested and cleaned stems (exterior tan pod / shell removed)
    and shipped in a sturdy cardboard box to prevent crushing in transit.  I have sold these dried Lunaria for many years,
    with only satisfied and happy customers.
    These have been grown in my southwest Michigan garden WITHOUT the use of pesticides or fertilizers,
    entirely ORGANIC.

    No seeds may be shipped internationally.  Keep in mind that these plants are biennial and
    the first year plant from seed will NOT produce flowers for the silver dollar  "coins", just green foliage.
    The second year is when you will see the lovely upright plant with purple flowers in the spring, which develop into the silver seed pods. In late summer / early fall when the pods are dried, the silvery white are hidden under a tan covering which easily flips off with your fingers, or by the wind when thoroughly dry.  Pull the plant up, root and all because the life of the plant is done. BUT...there are seeds to scatter.  It is best to scatter seeds two years in a row, that way you should always have a crop going that produces the silver dollar.
    Plant them somewhere that they get a good bit of sun (full/part sun is best for maximum flowering/pods, but will produce flowers/pods in part shade).
