    1860 old House Shutter Latch vintage rusty texture slide 8 7/8” iron dated 1861

    his latch came off a house shutter and has a great vintage look.
    The latch is dated
    APRIL 25 1861 and SEPT 18 1860.
    It has some rust on it.
    It would look great on a garden shed, a rustic jelly cupboard, a cabinet and all sorts of furniture.
    Also it would be great for barn or house shutters for a rustic historic look on a door.
    The latch is 8 7/8
    ”
    long and 2 1/2" wide.
    This latch has a locking lever to keep the slide bolt from moving back and forth.
    This shutter slide bolt has a great rustic look that will add a historic look to your home.
    All the years of paint were stripped and this gem of a latch was under it. It was then cleaned with water and what is left is bare cast iron.
