6x8" leather covered 1886 Oxford Revised Holy Bible, with custom gilt gift printing on inside front cover presenting Bible to Chaplain McNeille from his brother Officers of the Fourth Regiment Connecticut National Guard, May 30, 1889.  Also tipped in is an envelope with a letter to Clarence McNeille from his mother presenting him the Bible for Christmas.  Also included is a letter from Clarence thanking her for the gift.  Bible is in good condition with a few pencil notes from time to time.
