    Description

Thisvehicle went through a frame off restoration in 2017 including all newsuspension, resealing transmission and transfer case, rebuilding the smallblock Chevy engine, adding FiTech fuel injection, adding power steering, newinterior, new marine grade stereo. The body was taken down to bare metal, whichexposed that there was virtually no rust on this vehicle that has been in theSoutheastern US it's whole life. The interior was treated with Wurthundercoating and then the whole body was epoxy primed before going to paint.  I can send more pictures of the restoration to serious potential buyers. The color is Heath Gray, which is not the original color but it is an originalFJ40 color option. I wanted the bikini top to extend all the way back so Isourced a second roll bar to modify to fit my needs and keep the original look.It had 77k miles on it when I purchased it. We replaced the cluster (due to the condition of the original) with ROWcluster which is in KM (only thing available for an original cluster at that time), reading 23501KM, which would put it about 91k miles. This restoration took well over a year to complete. I do not have doors or anyother top.  What you see here is what I have.  There is a standard issue small oil leak from the rear main seal that leaves a small spot after it's been sitting for a month or so.  This restoration was done with the intent on keeping it for the long haul, but a growing family and car collection has left us with less space in our home for it.  This vehicle needs absolutely nothing at this point.  I'd also like to note that even when I let the car sit for a month or two, the newly rebuilt small block with FiTech fuel injection fires right up.
