The 924 was a very important car for Porsche in several ways. The 924 was their first road-going Porsche to have a front engine rear wheel drive configuration. It wa also the first Porsche to be offered with a fully automatic transmission. The other very important piece to the puzzle was that it was highly successful in terms of profits which helped the company transition in a learning curve period. And the 924 S that was produced in the final years was actually 944 powered....How cool is that? Now to the exciting part, this actual 924 S is a absolute wonderful specimen that Gr Auto Gallery of Traverse City is pleased to present. This car was a one-family owned vehicle up until 2018 when a import mechanic bought it and has had it since. This is a true 63K mile car that is in excellent condition both mechanically and cosmetically. In fact, I don't know if I have ever seen a nicer 924 in the flesh. In addition, this car comes with it all...Owners manuals, keys and clean carfax. Guess what? It also comes with the original bill of sale, application for first title, build sticker, window sticker, dealer info, original air compressor, tool kit, and space saver spare. Everything works perfectly including the A/C, which blows ice cold as well as the power fixed moon roof. The paint shines wonderfully and the interior is near perfect with a couple small cracks in the dash. If you are looking for a really nice time capsule of a car that has been meticulously maintained from day one, then this it. The car even comes with a file of service and receipts dating back to 1988. There are a lot of 924's that have not been treated so kindly throughout the years.
