to build a 250mm linear actuator using a C-shaped aluminum extrusion. The C-shaped extrusion is stronger than just a flat piece of 20mm x 80 mm linear rail because of the buildup on the sides
. We can also convert this to a 500mm linear actuator. Same parts with the exception of the length of the C shaped extrusion.
The last 2 images show the location (on both sides) of threaded holes on the XL gantry plate.
