    Description

    Matching set of 6 complete working pressure mounts for window screens, circa 1900.  Body in heavy steel with swivel pressure locks in ornate cast iron.  These mounts have a ornate cast iron swivel operator  - as the iron piece swivels from smaller to larger side, it pushes the catch out into the mount position and locks it in place until it is swiveled back to the narrow side and a small lip provides access for a finger to push the catch back for removal of the screen.  Mounts measure approx. 2 1/4" square and movable lipped catch extends 3/8".  Catches are in the remnants of original nickel and brass plate and are untouched as is.  Still in good working condition with nice age.  Purchase is for one set of six as pictured.
