This linear motor powered mover with an integrated linear servo motor and renishaw encoder came from a pick and place machine where it was used to place IC onto circuit boards. This one has an integrated linear carriage with ball bearings so it can be run with needing to mount separate linear rails.
Also includes nice mounting bracket legs made of very heavy steel.
