    Description

    Description
    This is a great transom that was salvaged from a Philadelphia Victorian home.
    It has a rectangular frame with mullions forming an arch.
    The larger arch is divided into 2 lites and there are also triangular shaped panes of glass at the upper corners.
    There are a total of 4 lites and there are no cracks or breaks.
    The frame is painted on both sides.
    It measures 52.25 inches wide by 23.75 tall and 1.75 inches thick.
    This is considered oversize by fedex and will be very expensive to ship, likely well over 0.

    ndition.
    There are misc. scratches and dings as it is antique.  It could use a good cleaning but will clean up nicely. The glazing putty will need to be touched up. There are small holes from staples and small nails. Please
    look at the pictures carefully.

    My salvage business was born of necessity in 1993 when I started restoring an old Victorian home that had seen better days. I needed doors, staircase parts, fireplace mantles and more, so I contacted the owners of a few local buildings that were scheduled for demolition. I found and purchased all of the things that I needed for my project and lots of extra treasures which I eventually resold. 17 years later this is still my full time job!
