Shipping discounts available when you buy more than one .I would say they were polished a few years ago and then lacquered and now have light rust spots here and there. The covers are in very good condition and we were able to clean a few sets up nicely with a little 00 steel wool. I have just purchased several different sets of cast iron hardware items from a dealer that was retiring. this is a very nice set and measures approximately 1 inch by 2 inches the covers have 2 holes to use to attach to your door  and those holes are approximately 1 1/2 inches apart. as always I do not claim to be a professional contractor if you need additional measurements or aren't sure how I got the measurements I did please ask. I have several styles and items listed make sure you see them all.
