Cover franked with 4d and 1/- KGV, tied by London machine (APR 3), to New Zealand, printed "1st England Australia Official Air Mail 1931 by Imperial Airways" cachet, some toning, accompanied by very fine letter from the Managing Director of Imperial Airways attesting to the flight and discussing the importance of the aviation to communication, two light filing folds to letter, uncommonly seen together.
