    Description

    These exceptional earrings by the famous Taxco Silver Artist Hector Aguilar have a stylized Bird design crafted in sterling silver repousse. They sit beautifully on the ear with the bird's tail curling up your earlobe. They measure 1 1/3" long by 1" wide and together they weigh 9.4 grams. Hallmarked on both earrings with the "HA" monogram along with "Made in Mexico, Sterling" they pre-date the eagle stamp which dates them to the late 1939 to early 1940's". They are in good vintage condition with only light signs of wear and a bit of tarnish and the screw backs work well. Over time they have developed a lovely deep patina that adds depth to the lovely design. These are a rare and very special pair of earrings by one of Taxco's most important Silver Masters.
