Barrel Diameter is 7/16 inch,
recommend
15/32 drill bit for good tight panel installation but 1/2 inch will also work.
Barrel protrusion is 3/8 inch so
maximum
panel thickness is 3/16 inch using both nuts, and can be extended to 1/4 inch thick panels by using only one nut.
Total depth needed behind the panel is 1-1/4 inch not including spade connectors if used.  (wires can also be soldered for maximum clearance.
Switch body
dimensions
are 3/4 inch x 1-3/8 inch x 13/16 deep.  connectors extend another 3/8 inch.
