This has never been installed.  It was purchased and someone with grubby hands tore the box open and took out the filter, and --only then--discovered that he had bought the wrong size.  Of course, the store would not take it back with a torn box, and there are a few very, very minor smudges on the filter edge.  Nothing that would in any way interfere with its functioning, and they are not obvious enough to show up in the photos.
