RG8 cables are thicker in comparison to RG58, RG8X, they have thicker inner conductor, thicker dielectric covering and a thick outer coating, which makes them perfect to use for outdoor conditions like connecting antennas.
RG-8/U type with 13 awg, stranded (7x21) bare copper inner conductor, 80% bare copper braid shielding, foam polyethylene insulation and PVC jacket.
