The forward / reverse helps with the problem of spinner when it gets stuck, switching it to other direction will help free up the spinner/auger combo.
The reverse allows spinner to be set to high RPM’s without sending out large amounts of salt when needing reaching far distance.
This unit is different from the rest by it being able to handle a peak load of 50A and running the negative back to the unit instead of the frame of the truck, eliminating possible corrosion of ground to frame.
This is one of the few salt controller on the market in this price range with reverse and will make the operators job a lot easier, from helping to free up the spinner/Auger combo to operating in reverse and being able to reach a far distance with out spreading heavy amounts of product.
