~ c. 1950s Handwrought Hinged Bangle Bracelet
~ Aztec Ruler Design: The artist created a very dimensional bracelet with the use of applied pieces. He/she utilized the gem as a head and donned it with a crown plus oversized earrings off to each side. It’s rather abstract modern yet draws from ancient Aztec Codex designs. Very amusing, quite unique, and I’ve never seen another like it!
~ Large Smoky Quartz Gemstone (15mm x 10mm depth); Prong Set & Open Backed for enhanced light play. I used 3 online calculators to arrive at an approximate weight of 10.6 carats.
~ Secure Tongue & Groove Clasp
~ Stamps: Mexico, 925, Eagle 3 Taxco assay mark, & 3 initials that weren’t stamped well and difficult to decipher.
~ Please know your wrist size as this beauty will not fit everyone.
