    Description

    Beautiful, vintage African indigo dyed scarf/shawl, with long, braided/knotted fringe. 7 stitch dyed hand woven cotton strips with sections of  “butterfly” and linear stitch dyed patterns; made by the Dogon in Mali.
    28” x 60”; Clean and washed; Excellent condition: no major damamge to the indigo itself; some fringe coming unbraided; one corner where fringe is cut off.
    This is the first group of smaller indigo scarves that I have received in all the time I have been buying indigo textiles. A perfect size for easy wearing!
