    Description

    Vintage handcrafted mixed metals bolo done in the Mexican style. Hammered copper slide is about 1 1/2" wide by 2" high.  The turquoise stone has nice veining and is about 3/4" across.  "Mexico" lettering and the eagle logo are silver.  I'm pretty sure this is nickel silver and not sterling.  This will clean up beautifully if you want it shiny, although many prefer the original patina.  The leather is very good and shows slight wear from the slide.  The tips are also handmade from copper.  It is marked "Cobre Hecho in Mexico" but does not have a maker's mark.  Very nice souvenir bolo.
