Composite or reconstituted turquoise is made from small pieces of turquoise that are mixed with polymer and then cut to desired shapes.
Here we have an attractive vintage Mexican sterling silver with turquoise composite inlay, panel, collar, statement necklace.  Necklace features several heavy and solid, ornate design, panels, with a larger, central panel.

with coins, for scale/size.  Wearable length is approx. 16 1/2" - 17".  Necklace sits nicely on the neck as shown in photo.  Necklace
closes with a tongue and groove/box type clasp closure.
In very good vintage condition, with a little bit of natural tarnish.  Made in Taxco, Mexico.  Signed TC-84  Hecho en Mexico 925.  Weight is approx. 65 grams.
