Beautiful 3-D sterling Taxco grape cluster and leaf necklace.
Necklace measures 15 inches long excluding clasp. Center larger grape cluster
measures 1.5 x 1 inch. It
is marked TF-74 Mexico 925 on the back.
Regarding the markings-
The "Letter and number" system for Mexican silver began in 1980 to the present. The first letter identifies a location (T for Taxco, M for Mexico City), the second letter is the first letter of the maker's first or last name. The number is the number of registration of the maker.
Necklace needs to be polished but otherwise excellent condition. Clasp closes properly.
