    Description

Here's a VJB1DD8C-A2B00-000 Carling ON/OFF/ON double pole rocker switch, sealed, Contura, V series. 15a, 24v, w/ two 24 volt lamps. One is red other is clear. You can get other switch covers/ actuators.  Thanks for looking.
ON/OFF/ON configuration, double pole double throw
    Two lamps - 24 VDC
7 terminal; The top right terminal is the ground for the lamps. The middle terminals are power "in". You will need power to feed both sides of the switch since this is a double pole unit.
The other two pairs of terminals are power "out". The switch is "off" when the actuator is in the middle position. At times these switches are wired differently. The important thing to remember is how the switch operates. When the bottom of the actuator is depressed, the middle two terminals make contact with the top two terminals. When the top of the actuator is depressed, the middle two terminals make contact with the bottom two terminals. As with all double pole switches, the two sides are independent of each other. So the terminals on the left side of the switch never make contact with the terminals on the right side of the switch unless you install an external jumper.
Both lamps are dependent lamps. This means they get power when the switch is actuated. There is a 24VDC red incandescent bulb in position #1 and it is powered by terminal #3 and grounded by terminal#7. There is a clear incandescent bulb in position 2 that is powered by terminal #1 and grounded by terminal #7.
Common for Marine, RV, automotive, and other 12V DC applications.
Part# VJB1-1 Commonly used for navigation lights
Choose from a variety of actuators with different lenses. Actuator part numbers begin with VV.
