    Description

    A vintage sterling silver ring with an amber cabochon. It is a size 6.25 and weighs 6.46 grams. I believe it originates from the Southwest but Mexico is possible as well. Not sure of exact age but Im pretty sure its 1970s or before. The honey colored amber stone is approximately 3/4"×5/8" and it is very clear with only a couple small flecks and a large fan right in the middle. Its not full of bubbles but in a 10x loupe I can see tiny superficial hairline cracks that look vaguely like crazing on pottery.The ring has a fantastic organic brutalist setting attached to a 1/16" band. There are 3 seperate stamps on the outside of the band. The main one is a 925 with letter P above it and some sort of symbol I cant quite make out to the right of it. Further around the band is another 925 and the initials WK. There also might be another mark on the inside of the band but its hard to tell. Overall the patina is incredible and its just a really uniqueb one of a kind piece. See pics for condition. If you have any questions feel free to send an email.
