Western 4 pin controllers us a digital signal to send 'data' (
similar
to the Can-Bus system your vehicle uses to send engine data to the ECM) to the plow control module - unlike the earlier 'analog' style controllers. It is very important to have a good connection between the controller and vehicle side connectors. Corrosion and wear can impede the signal resulting in loss of plow control or even a damaged controller (dreaded flashing red light issue!)
We see many other sellers trying to peddle cheaper partially plated, computer grade, or worse, Chinese imported plugs and connectors

This kit solves the corrosion/connectivity issue with 4X - 8X the standard 24K gold plating
and will provide years of trouble free service for your plow. The custom made pins in this kit are FULLY gold plated for contact with the wiring harness AND the mating plug - unlike other "partially" gold plated pins. Standard and stock pins are tin-plated brass or worse if standard non-ULR grade or imported - just for reference.
