Rocker switch is illuminated. See the variation pictures for the true color - the switches all use an orange LED so the colors are skewed.
The LED is intended to work with standard AC equipment; thus, illumination is not guaranteed for all voltages. The switch functionality will work for all applications (eg: 5VDC, 12VDC, 115VAC, 240VAC, etc).
